This recent project was ideal for our Hiab lorry based in London. Our client needed a set of handrails which had been manufactured in East London collected and delivered to the construction site in Kent.

The handrail system was fitted to the roof of the new Metropolitan Police Dog Training Establishment in Kent.

As with most of our work, the Hiab provides a total solution for the customers. We collected from the manufacturer and transported the system to Kent. Once there, we then worked with the site management to lift the handrails onto the roof and helped manoeuvre them into position. The handrails were held in place by our Hiab operator whilst the initial fixings were carried out. It meant that the site management did not have to worry about hiring in an extra stand alone crane, or divert the use of the main site crane from other scheduled lifting

This meant that the final fitting of the handrails was able to be completed quickly and safely.

We have huge experience of working with and for customers in this way. It is a full service offering which provides excellent value for money, meets all the requirements for health and safety on site, and can be delivered to site within a very tight time window.

We have been really pleased to make sure that these particular dogs aren’t let out.
